Long Span Structures
Long span structures give you an alternate to permanent steel structures, plus they give you a lot cooler more productive environment during the hot summers.
The shelters with the pitched roof and straight walls are often used when overhead gantries are needed. These can be mounted on mobile A Frames or the tracks mounted on the strengthened walls of the structure. These are suitable for concrete form work processes for bridge building, guaranteeing that adverse weather conditions will not delay the project while the bridge component are being made close to the bridge site.
The long span structures also allow you the remove and store or relocate the building between projects. The fabric is approximately one sixth the weight of steel cladding and there are not thousands of screws to remove when shifting a structure.
Port structures are often mounted on concrete walls of two to three metres high, increasing the cubic capacity substantially. The structures can be engineered to accommodate overhead elevators to deliver the product economically into storage. These large structures at the ports are often used for various bulk products, depending on the need at the time. Internal dividing curtains can be used to seperate products such as wood chips which can give off volitiles making working conditions in the rest of the structure unpleasant.
The domed large span structures are ideal for grain depots, as semitrailers have plenty of clearance to tip their loads. Having a large capacity depot outside the city boundary capital minimise the need for very much more expensive storage capacity at the port.
Creating a workspace which is free of supporting posts will contribute to the safety of maintenance and construction operations. Efficiency can be increase allow for the work to be allocated flexible areas, that are most suitable for the work being carried out.
